Children

Friday Assembly 5/7/19

There were a number of children awarded stickers and wristbands in assembly on Friday. We also had quite a few who were achieving out of school, with running and swimming awards. Well done to everyone!

New Faces

We were pleased to welcome Mr. Rance and Mrs. Dott to school today. Mr. Rance will be the new headteacher of the school in September and Mrs. Dott joins us to teach in Class 2 alongside Mrs Heard. We all hope they had a great day and are looking forward to September.

Free Apps to help with Geography!

Children in Class 4 are widening their geographical knowledge, learning about all of the countries in Europe. I have identified two free apps below which can be used to help in widening factual geographical knowledge – maybe give them a go during half-term if boredom sets in! IPADS – Maps of Our World –¬†https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/maps-of-our-world/id658902767?mt=8 Android …

Class 1 Planting

Class 1 have been growing seeds and planting seedlings around the school. If you have any spare plants we would be glad to grow them on. I love their Wellington Boot display!

Super Swimmers

Congratulations to all of our super swimmers who competed in the Uttlesford District Gala on Wednesday. Although they were swimming against 5 other schools, all of whom were much bigger than us they gave a great account of themselves. Well done everyone!
