Children in school have been thrilled with the new equipment that the PTA has donated. They have been playing draughts, Twister and sliding along the playground on the new scooter-boards. Children in Class 4 were pleased to visit the Ashdon Baptist Church Lunch Club Christmas dinner on Wednesday and help serve the food and then entertain the group with some Christmas Carols. Thanks to Gavin for his invitation
We all enjoyed our Christmas lunch today at our new ‘Family Lunch’ tables. All the children ate together, with those from Class 4 acting as servers and helping their peers ensuring that they enjoyed their lunch. Many thanks to the cook and all staff for making the meal such a special one.
The School Council organised a cake sale today, the proceeds of which will be donated to ‘The Red Cross’ who are the school’s chosen charity this year. Jessica from Class 4 spent last Saturday at Twickenham Rugby Ground dancing in front of over 50,000 people. She is part of Pure Ryhthm, a dance group set up by Sue Raven a former parent of the school, and her troupe performed last week at the London ‘Double Header’ rugby union event. Jessica said that …
