We had our annual visit from our Essex County Council School Improvement adviser last Friday.
She interviewed a range of children from Key Stage 2 and asked them about life at Ashdon.
In her report summary she has written;
‘The children are well spoken….. and show a high level of understanding and empathy towards others.
They were able to elucidate with clarity the schools values’
They were able to take turns speaking and debating with each other, taking account of each others opinions.
They all felt safe in school and were able to say what their actions would be if they were bullied or found material on-line that wasn’t nice.’
The children had no preparation for the visit or discussion, and we are all extremely proud of their comments.
